To start with when you first get your Motorcycle. During the first 3 rides of your battery’s life, it should be fully charged every time before commencing your journey. (This will help with the life span of your battery). Also ensure that the Battery receives a full charge at least once every 2 months. Furthermore, you should not start a ride with less than 20% battery charge and avoid riding your motorcycle when the battery reaches a charge bellow 10%.  There is also a procedure for storage. Please ask our sales team or have a further look at our FAQ’s page.
The Life span of your battery is difficult to measure as it is directly linked to the usage and the upkeep of the battery. Our advice is to always read your manual carefully. Follow the instructions and we strongly believe your battery will last for many years after its original warranty policy expires.

Please note: Your Battery has a warranty policy which will cover its life for the first 3 years. During this time, it is vital that your regular service checks are regularly maintained as failure to do so could affect the warranty policy on the battery.

At Go green Motorcycles the Cost to service and inspect your electric motorcycle is just £85 plus VAT. Should your vehicle need any consumables to be replaced such as tyres, brake fluid or components outside of the main service schedule then these are charges at parts plus labour rate of £65 plus vat per hour.

We believe in being open and clear about our service policy. if you have any questions please do get in touch.

The Most important service your vehicle can ever receive is it’s first service. This usually takes place after 500 miles or 6 months. Whichever comes first. Thereafter your electric motorcycle usually needs a check every 2000 miles. The good news is that these checks are nothing compared to the costly checks for gasoline vehicles.

It is vitally important that for your warranty to be valid your Motorcycle must have a service history carried out by a main dealer.

There is currently an OLEZ discount scheme, which is automatically deducted from the cost of the motorcycle. Additionally, we offer additional promotional offers, so it would be worth getting in touch with us for more details.
Yes, absolutely. All of our Electric Mopeds and Motorcycles are covered by a minimum of a 2-year manufacturer warranty and a 3-year Battery warranty. All of which we can carry out on-site at our London office.
The amount of power the engine produces, the consumption of the battery and the driving style all affect this. Depending on the size of the battery, the typical range for the bikes we offer is about 30 miles, but it can go above 200 miles.
Compared to a combustion engine motorcycle an electric bike is very efficient as there are:
  • No Oil/oil/fuel filter
  • No Petrol
  • No Coolant
  • No Valves
  • No Spark Plugs
  • No Clutch/transmission/cables
  • No Throttle bodies/Carburettors

to maintain! Therefore, maintenance essentially comes down to consumable items such as tyres and brake pads, bearings & electrical items.

On a provisional licence with CBT, you can ride our AM (50cc) electric moped from the age of 16. You must be at least 17 years old in order to ride the A1 category (<=11kw) 125cc equivalent on a provisional licence with CBT. Category A2 and A bikes can be ridden by any person with the appropriate category of full driving license.

AM – Mopeds. Continuous power up to 4kW. Max speed 28mph. These are typically regarded as being equivalent to 50cc

A1 – Power <= 11kw, Power/Weight <=0.1 kw/kg. These are typically regarded as being equivalent to 125cc

A2 – Power <= 35kw, Power/Weight <=0.2 kw/kg

A – Power > 35kw, Power/Weight >0.2 kw/kg
